CIRCA HOTEL is a 10 min Walk from the Castle of Good Hope

The Castle of Good hope built between 1666 and 1679 is known as the oldest surviving building in South Africa and has been the center of civilian, political and military life at the Cape from approximately 1679

This historical building now houses, among others, the William Fehr Collection, an African pottery collection, the Castle Military Museum and a forge.

The Castle was, however, not the first fort to be built at the Cape. A model of this original fort can be seen in the Castle Military Museum.

Circa is uniquely situated within walking distance of the Castle of Good Hope. During this walk one can take in the bustling of the City centerand the shopping experience of the St Georges Mall. The Walk should take about 10 – 15 minutes.
